This new video for "Ah" from Oval's new disc O is pretty neat (shouldn't all song and album titles be monosyllabic?!). Watch in HD if you're brave!

I'm pretty late-to-the-game with Oval; I only recently became acquainted with his work, first hearing 94 Diskont earlier this year. (Still working through his discog.) It's interesting to see how his narcotized tone shreds and glitchy pastiche have given way to a more "user-friendly," less experimental approach. I wonder if his creative process is still somewhat aleatoric? In any event, bust out the headphones!
