Happy Weekend!

Here is a new track from Luke Blair, aka Lukid. He's dropping a new one on Werks soonish, and I'm pretty excited (his Foma LP from last year made my Top 15 [see below...way down] and his productions are rather slept-on). With "Hair Of The Dog," it looks like Lukid is making better dubstep than most of the current dubstep producers in the UK; and he isn't even considered one.

SxSW 2010

So I'll be headed to Austin in a few weeks for SxSW and I'm pretty excited! I've never been to Texas, but I was in New Orleans (pre-Katrina) and enjoyed the Southern friendliness, and I feel that Austin might be the closest thing to New Orleans? It should be a welcome respite from the shitty weather here (it's currently 34F/2C with 40mph/70kmph winds and overcast-- always overcast). I'll be blogging a bit, and plan on seeing lots and lots of shows and drinking lots and lots of beer. Currently writing a review for Gonjasufi's new one out on Warp next Tuesday, and it's a positive review; definitely enjoying it. Have fun ya'll.
